Given Notre Dame's lack of depth at TE as of 9/24/08, would you like to see Weis throw #80 on a lineman that isn't starting? For example: Dever, Duncan, Mullen...

Since Kyle Rudolph has shown no real ability to block well as a freshman and they would like to red-shirt Fauria, would it make sense to do this? ND has been keeping a TE in on max protect during passing downs anyways, and I'm sure a lineman would be better suited to run block.

I have Paddy Mullen as a wild-card. He was a TE in HS and would be available.

I don't know, just wondering. What do you think?
