Make no mistake about it- the road to improvement is a steep incline that can take some time. Irish fans have become to familiar with teams trying to improve and "rebuild." It's a goal that has yet to be truly accomplished in over 15 years. Restlessness is natural. However... it would be a crime to judge what we may see in year three after the first 4 games in which the team is 1-3.
What we can see right away, is what type of team these Fighting Irish will be in November. November has been a huge hurdle for the Irish in recent years, and their downfall. Will this team be better in November than they were in September? That is what we should be concentrating on right now, and quit worrying about what next year may look like after 4 games this season.
