Baylor did what it was supposed to do (well what we thought Texas might do anyway)and absolutely crushed Kansas State.
Then, we all patiently waited for Stanford to quit fumbling the ball, which they never seemed to do- but the game did end up in overtime. Oregon missed its field goal and Stanford made theirs.BOOM!

The Fighting Irish will be #1 in ALL the polls, and have just one last game against Southern Cal next week to end the season perfect and send Notre Dame to the BCS Championship game.

I was sitting not to far from the guy with that sign at Baylor. After we rushed the field, I made a special point to go take a pic with him holding it. Shook his hand, and told him thanks from the ND family. It's funny, almosst every Baylor fan and player I talked to after the game mentioned they were behind us, and it sounded genuine.
@clearwall My best friend has a BS from Baylor and MS/PhD from Notre Dame. He was in ecstasy on Saturday night. I could "see" him glowing talking on the phone after the games.
@SteveinIowa1 Ill bet the 10k or so fans that werent in their seats Sat night were sure pissed they missed this game. Ive never seen a major college football game played on a home field with so many empty seats. Makes me grateful Im an Irish fan.
@SteveinIowa1 probably has, but Baylor has such a tiny fan base even a huge draw like Rg3 can only increase it a few K. 20-30% increase over such a small base, you know. BU falls, maybe 3 or 4 pthin line behind UT, A&M, OU & Tech for fans
@SteveinIowa1 Really? Why? Baylor has never really been a football school, theyre much more into basketball and baseball than anything. Just checked the official numbers and there were approx 12k empty seats there(39k attended, 50k stad).
College football has conclusively proved that God is Catholic.
