Twittermania: Dropping Bombs Y'All

#NDFB TWEETS

Welcome to Twittermania, that once a week tradition that has now only made two appearances in the past two months. Shit happens- but the tally is still, well... tallied. The one thing that hasn't been tallied was all the tweets from the title game. As drunj as this guy got, I was waiting on the HLS Twitter recap. That never happened, so....

You can check out the full standings on the Twittermania tab above, but here is the top 5 leaderboard:

@A5thDown 26
@oaknd1 25
@tricerapops 23
@pootND 17
@HLS_NDTex 14

We got just a few more weeks to go for the title. Shit is getting intense. ON TO THE TWEETS...

The New NCAA Recruiting Deregulations And How Will They Affect Notre Dame?

Written by The Subway Domer on .

ncaa deregulation

Recently the NCAA passed new legislation that deregulated a lot things that affect the recruiting of high school athletes. This was an attempt by NCAA President Mark Emmert and the Division I Board of Directors to simplify the rule book (which is now 25 pages lighter) and allow themselves some breathing room to regulate and enforce more important matters.

These sweeping changes will change the face of recruiting in all sports, but for our purposes here, my concern and discussion will be about football, and more specifically, Notre Dame football.

Jaded- My Manti Te'o Story

Written by The Subway Domer on .

manti te'o

Jaded.

That pretty much sums up how I feel at this point. In the past, I've been accused of having many words, but nothing to say. And while I can easily defend myself against that statement, I find it ironically fitting at this moment. This is what happens after you reach a certain point where you can no longer listen, read, or talk about a subject with any passion, interest, or knowledge because the intake was too much, too out of control, and too mind-numbingly "what the fuck" for the brain and heart to process.

Subway Domer's Recruiting Notebook: An Important Month

Written by The Subway Domer on .

notre dame football recruiting

We open the recruiting notebook as we race towards the proverbial finish line that is National Signing Day. Nothing is more vital to the success and health of a program than the recruitment of new talent. This doesn't just mean signing as many 4 and 5 star prospects as possible, although it certainly does help quite a bit. No, it's signing the best talent available that fits your school, your team dynamic, the schemes, and needs within the roster.

Brian Kelly and his staff seem to be doing just that, and doing it well. This is that crazy and tricky time of the year that can make or break a program. Let's jump headfirst into this wormhole...

Brian Kelly Walks Around With Both Middle Fingers In The Air

Written by The Subway Domer on .

brian kelly

Do you want to know why Brian Kelly walks around with both fingers in the air? That's because he gives ZERO FUCKS y'all. I couldn't help but laugh mercilessly once the news was out that Brian Kelly was returning to Notre Dame after buying the Philadelphia Eagles a Cosmo up at the bar.

ALL YOU ASSHOLES MUST PAY.

Brian Kelly Interviewed By The Philadelphia Eagles

Written by The Subway Domer on .

brian kelly

So, it's being reported by just about every NFL outlet that Brian Kelly talked with the Philadelphia Eagles after the BCS Championship game.

I'm not sure what to make of all this just yet. Is Kelly using Philly as leverage on a new ND contract? Does Brian Kelly really want to coach in the NFL? Are there any good deli's in Philly? Lot's of questions here and I'm not sure when we will hear anything exact- although I guess by early next week. I know a guy who knows a guy that sells hot dogs at Lincoln Financial Field.

Here we go Irish fans....

The BCS Championship Hangover: Fighting Natural Disasters

So this is what defeat feels like. I mean, after all, it had been over a year since the last time Notre Dame football lost a game, and I sort of, kind of forgot how this is supposed to taste.
