So, it's being reported by just about every NFL outlet that Brian Kelly talked with the Philadelphia Eagles after the BCS Championship game. 

And @jayglazerhas reported Eagles' interest in ND HC Brian Kelly as well.

I'm not sure what to make of all this just yet. Is Kelly using Philly as leverage on a new ND contract? Does Brian Kelly really want to coach in the NFL? Are there any good deli's in Philly? Lot's of questions here and I'm not sure when we will hear anything exact- although I guess by early next week. I know a guy who knows a guy that sells hot dogs at Lincoln Financial Field.

So this is what defeat feels like. I mean, after all, it had been over a year since the last time Notre Dame football lost a game, and I sort of, kind of forgot how this is supposed to taste.

Congrats to the Alabama Crimson Tide on their third BCS title in four years. Congrats to the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame on a great season. Congrats to me for filling out the final blog poll. And always remember, no matter the outcome, no matter where you finish in the polls "Our hearts forever love Thee, Notre Dame."
